For those of you that didn't make it last night, you missed out! There was a Flamenco guitarist and dancer, as always wonderful food provided by Santa Fe Tapas and AMAZING gluten free vegan deserts by The Peacebaker.  For Santa Fe Brunch Menu today is as follows and hope many of you can attend at least of a cup of Gumbo soup! The Arancini is back by popular demand also!!


1st course:
• sweet corn wild mushroom tamale, heriloom tomato pico de gallo & guacamole - $6
• gumbo des herbes - $6
• winter salad: freshest market produce available with seasonal garnishes - $6

2nd course:
• curried lentil and fingerling potatoes, caramelized onion, potato sweet pea pakoras & cilantro chutney - $11
• green pea risotto wild mushroom stuffed arancini, braised rapini antipasti marinated cannellini beans & romenesco - $12
• housemade paste del dia: herb, spinach gnocci, fried sage & duo of sauces (roasted tomato arrabiata, roasted shallot soubise) - $12

3rd course:
• banana hazelnut strudel, almond milk cream anglaise, hazelnut brittle & caramel - $6 
• housemade ice cream sorbet sampler, horchata pistachio ice cream & Louisiana black berry sauce - $6 
• warm mixed berry crepes - $6

Santa Fe Tapas is expanding their menu, and will soon have vegan menu items everyday. For now, they have a vegan brunch on Saturday from 11am to 3pm. There is a prix fixe and an a la carte option for the brunch menu. Prix fixe is choice of one from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd course offerings for $21.

Vegan Jazz Brunch
Saturday, December 17 at 11:00am at Santa Fe Tapas 1327 St. Charles Avenue.
