Hey Jehan,

It is a GREAT idea! I think once word gets out, a lot of parents will go for it. It will probably bring people in who aren't interested specifically in a vegan brunch, but who are interested in having their kids entertained while they eat in peace.

It is really hard to take (11-month-old) Ronan out to eat these days. I don't know if he's old enough to appreciate a magician, but I am hoping to give it a try soon. We have been moving for the past couple of weeks and things have been hectic... I'm hoping they'll slow down soon so we can make it out. I'm dying to try this place, if only for an appetizer :-)

I did just think of one thing to pass on about the magic act... that since it's for a vegan brunch, there shouldn't be any real animals involved (bunnies and birds come to mind). I wouldn't patronize an act that involved animals. (Any idea if this one does? Probably not, since it's in a restaurant, but you never know...)

Thanks!
Erin

If I could please get some feedback for those of you with kids entertaining the brunch idea....the owner of Santa Fe Tapas has recruited a magician to entertain the kids during the Saturday brunch because of his own experience when his son was younger and was trying to enjoy a meal without too much disruption.  He thinks the magician might be a way to bring out more parents with their children if they can be entertained and you can better enjoy your brunch.  Some feedback I can send to the owner would be valuable.

thanks,
Jehan
