Thanks all for the useful info! I love vegan vietnamese food (noodle salads! pho! lemongrass tofu, oh my!) and have not had anything less than awesome food at Tan Dinh on the Westbank. Seriously, the lemongrass tofu is like crack.

Congrats, Bill, on your health success!

Melissa is correct that the Quorn chic'n patty is not vegan.  However, the company DID just recently come out with an entirely vegan "burger-type" patty.  This change was made in large part due to the urging of members of Compassion Over Killing (COK).  Quorn's vegan patty is available locally at Whole Foods.

Cheers,

Just one note - someone mentioned a Quorn chicken sandwich I believe.  Quorn does make a tasty product interestingly out of mushrooms, but unfortunately they use eggs as a binder.  I don't believe that any of their products are vegan.

I may be corrected because I’m not the strictest, but here is my list:

Some subways do a “Veggie Max,” which is a veggie patty.

Burger king does a veggie burger (wo mayo and cheese).

Taco bell does their bean burrito and cinnamon twists and anything on their menu can be ordered beans no meat.

Quizno’s- Veggie Wheat (wo cheese or dressing)

Whole Foods has a large variety of vegan options (including pizza).

Roly Poly does a number of wraps you can do w/o cheese (California Hummer!) and a garden vegetable soup.

Mahoney’s Uptown does an eggplant parmesan poboy that can be done without cheese- I’ve never inquired about the batter, so it matters how strict you are.

Hey Café Uptown does an awesome Quorn “chicken” burger.

McCalisters has veggie chill, baked potato and The Veggie Sandwich (wo cheese or dressing).
