Dear Randy, et al,

Check out this site for your answer:

I also have been looking for this great vegan yogurt and I too don't think the Almond or Coconut compare to the original Soy--As you can see from the URL above the unplanned move of facility disrupted their production cycle--I hope they are right about being back up in about a week--If your intestinal flora has been disrupted real Kosher pickles have excellent probiotics for vegans and others....

Maybe Langenstein's on Met Rd or Dorignacs on Vets?

Hi All--

I am a lurker in this meetup group.  Every time I try to make an event something else comes up and thwarts my plan.  I am a near-vegan, animal-lover though so my credentials are I hope still pretty good.

Question:  I have not been able to find soy yogurt in New Orleans for roughly two months?  Does anyone know what's up?  For a while you could get a couple of the overly sweetened Silk soy yogurt, but for over a month now nothing available.

I personally tend to shop uptown:  Whole Foods, Breaux Mart (Magazine), Winn Dixie (Tchoupitoulas at Jefferson) and Rouses (Tchoupitoulas at Napoleon).

No luck in any of those locations.  My personal preference is Whole Soy & Co.  But at this point I'd welcome a return of almost anything ... except maybe the oversweetened Silk. There has been a smattering of Coconut Milk based yogurts; or almond-based ones; but they are not as good in terms of texture or the protein and other benefits.  Whole Soy & Co. is so, so good.

Is there some soy news I am missing?  Nationally?  Regionally?  A staff member on the aisle at Whole Foods said that he'd noticed it too.  He said they didn't (staff) have any notice about it ... but he knew those products had been missing for a while.

Inquiring near-vegan mind.  I try to stay vegan, so I'm not going to milk yogurts.  I am not fully vegan since I don't ask too many questions about baked goods; and have been known to eat mac and cheese with family for convenience and politeness.

Thanks for any thoughts.
