The *Reacher dude shared with us at the Compassionate Competetor workshop...
Learned that compassion means to sit and suffer with the suffering... That was profound to me. He **reached me at this crucial moment in my life... Many thanks, bruh.
The meetup was fantabulous !!! And I coped a brushed stainless Vitamix at a ridiculously low price..! HOLLA
    Until we meetup again...muah

    Greetings All!
I did not connecg for the meet up on
Saturday. However, I was present at the
festival. I MUST ADMIT it was sorely less
impressive than last years event. More
vendors, speakers and options were present
and offered then than this year. Even foot
traffic was less. Although it is an awesome
    idea.

I found the event to be similar to NYC Veg Fest with less vendors (some the same as Veg Fest), less people and a higher admission price. Some vendors were the same as at Veg Fest, but there were some new ones. I was there on Sunday and was told some vendors who were there on Saturday didn't return on Sunday and some who were there on Sunday were already sold out of some items halfway through the day. We were told there would be the "finest food from New York's famed vegan restaurant scene". There were a few restaurants there, however the only upscale restaurant present was Candle Cafe West and the only item being sampled was their spring roll. A company was selling Truffle veganaise - I asked how the truffles were sourced and was told they use pigs and dogs(!) - that is not vegan or cruelty-free - so I was pretty disturbed about that. Even though there were a few nice things, I was overall disappointed the festival wasn't as promised.

This was my first vegan expo and I thought that it was AW-SUMMMM! I loved it! It was the first time that I had done something for me in a very long time and I had the time of my life. I didn't know what to expect but it was wonderful. Next year, I'll have to remember to bring money as there were so many nice things to buy.

If anybody wants to help out for half an hour at my table, I'd really appreciate the chance to get to walk around a couple of times during the day. Look for the sign with the artichoke that says Main Street Vegan. Thanks in advance.
