Update - How To Find Us: The Sky Room is located at the top of the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott-Times Square at 330 West 40th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues). Walk through the hotel to the elevators in the back, and take the elevator to the roof - the Sky Room. The Sky Room has two levels. The elevator lets you off on the bottom level. Take the stairs up to the top level. On the top level, go out (outside) to the roof. Our meetup group will have its own roped-off level on the roof. Once you are there it will be easy to find us. Bring a (probably light) jacket appropriate for the weather. In the unlikely event of rain, we will have our own roped-off section on the top level of Sky Room, but inside rather than outside.
You are invited to join fellow Vegetarian & Vegans for an evening of socialising, beverages & views over Manhattan.
Last month those of us that attended the "drinks" event all had a wonderful time catching up with old friends and making new friends whilst sipping beer, wine, cocktails and mocktails. Let's do this again at a different venue.
New York Nightlife calls it "spectacular", and Zagat describes it as "snazzy", the Sky Room is an elegant setting, both cozy and spacious, fun & funky and will be a great place for us to mix and mingle and meet up.

Also, Sky Room has been extensively and enthusiastically covered in the press (click here).
From their web site:
Sky Room, which boasts 360 degree views of Manhattan and the Hudson River from the city's highest rooftop lounge, takes New York City nightlife to the next level. Occupying the 33rd and 34th Floor of the newly constructed Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Times Square, the bi-level ultra lounge transports guests to a high energy oasis atop 40th Street and offers five distinct spaces: the Times Square Lounge, the Cube balcony, the Private Salon, the North terrace with its retractable roof, and the South Terrace with its private cabanas.
The north terrace on the 34th floor provides a comfortable environment all year round with a fully retractable glass roof cover and panoramic glass walls, offering stunning views of the Times Square area. One standout highlight of the venue is the South Terrace on the 2nd level, which features illuminated furniture and flush lit floor tiles amidst a lush landscape, set up to offer a luxurious space where guests can truly enjoy being in the heart of Manhattan, with views of the Hudson River and the Empire State Building.

The New York Nightlife Review: "Sky Room is situated on the 33rd and 34th floors of the Fairfield Inn and suites by Marriott. Like its name hints, this location is truly a 'room' in the sky. It has spectacular 360 degree views of Manhattan and the Hudson River. It is a pristine location for people looking to enjoy some drinks, catch up with friends and co-workers, and have fun all while being on top of New York City."
New York Magazine: Ceiling LED lights mimic the view of midtown on the 33rd and 34th floor decks of the Times Square Marriott. Designers Stephen B. Jacobs and Andi Pepper (who’ve also worked with the Gansevoort, Library, and Giraffe hotels) split the massive bi-level outdoor area into five "terraces": one has a retractable glass roof, another features private cabanas.
Zagat: The rooftop craze comes to an obscure address opposite Port Authority via this snazzy double-decker atop a Garment District hotel; the swish setting offers a variety of cozy seating options both indoors and out, but it's the year-round roof-level (topped with a retractable cover and billed as the highest bar in town) that is causing most of the chatter.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
