It was a great feeling to be giving back, especially since I have so much to be thankful for.

I enjoyed the people—including the great people from Gratitude, the fellow volunteers, and visitors—as well as the delicious food and nice atmosphere. There were a lot of us volunteers, and everyone was anxious to help.

this is served FREE to the public, most of the people are NOT the poor, but the poor from the street do come in. the majority of the people are customers, vegetarian people , and guests and kids...

you can't tell if someone is poor and unemployed *shrug*
