Let's celebrate the summer with a backyard vegan potluck dinner at my home in Pittston, PA. Enjoy a beautiful atmosphere surrounded by lush greens & colorful bloom, along with great music & company. All guests are asked to bring their favorite vegetarian or vegan appetizer, dinner, or dessert along with the recipe. Also, please feel free to bring your favorite bottle of wine or cocktail mix. Dinner will be held outside on my patio, along with dessert & coffee.
The topic of discussion will be "a better life for all living beings." I am going to briefly discuss how a sound financial plan can create opportunities to make a difference in the world. This discussion will include how what I do can help benefit organizations that we are passionate about such as PETA, or the ASPCA, as far as donating money to these societies & the ways that we can do this through savings & life insurance. I am looking to find a way to tie my career to helping the animals we care about. Most times PETA & ASPCA are looking for donations to continue their hard work & dedication to help save animals. I also donate & am a member of several organizations including PETA, the ASPCA & several more. I also volunteer for a local hospice program called Tracey's Hope in Duyea that helps sick & disabled animals. I will make it brief!! If anyone else would be interested in posing a topic or playing a role in the discussion, please let me know & we can coordinate. I look forward to meeting everyone!!!
DIRECTIONS 81 North: to Pittston exit, merge onto 315 South. At the second light make a left hand turn onto Old Boston Road (b/w the 315 Donut Shop & First National Community Bank). Follow Old Boston Road (about a 1/2 mile) to the stop sign. Proceed straight & Old Boston Road merges into Sarf Road. Sarf Road bears to the right & my home is on the left with the large pines. My home is a brick house with a seperate brick garage set back with a long driveway. 81 South to Pittston/Dupont exit. Make a U-turn at the light onto 315 South (Park & Ride & Wachovia on left & Ken Pollock Chevrolet on the right) & follow the directions above.
