It is always amazing to be in a room of like minded people! I have been teaching people the power of food and whole food nutrition for over 10 years now, so it is very exciting to see events like this bringing attention to plant based food!

We had such a nice time. All the speakers were informative and inspiring. It was also nice to see Ben, Peggy from Lovin'Spoonfuls and met some other like minded people. We are looking forward to the symposium in May. Stay well all.

I enjoyed the presentations, and am very supportive of what Dr. Lederman and his wife are doing with plant-based patient care. However, I am also a practicing pharmacist, and even with my doctoral-level education and now 16 years of clinical experience, I often had great difficulty understanding him because he spoke so quickly, often to the point where it sounded like he was mumbling. I think part of the problem was the microphone/sound system. However, I did think it ironic that he was strongly advocating for patients to be able to communicate with their doctors, yet lectured to us in such a rapid-sequence, authoritarian manner and did not receive any audience interaction. He also made several impressive claims, but like many physicians I've observed, spoke in a fairly dogmatic manner and did not reveal much about how his claims were substantiated (e.g. sources, study designs, etc.). I did purchase his book and was nonetheless grateful to meet him, and do believe in his approach2hlth.

I was reminded again how fun it is to see live presentations and meet the authors and experts in the fields I'm interested in, it's like going to a concert vs just watching it on video, and it was great to be with like-minded people and to know there were veg-curious people digesting this info. I always love when humor is woven into presentations. Excellent event, and for free!
