Dinner at The Tasteful Kitchen

This event is limited to 27 people, so please be committed and make sure you change your RSVP if something comes up. This will take place in the community room with 3 big round tables.

The Tasteful Kitchen is a vegetarian and vegan restaurant and offers a unique dining experience with fresh, minimally processed dishes. They "shop for seasonal fruits and vegetables with an emphasis on organic and locally grown produce", many dishes are gluten free. They offer raw as well as cooked food.

Read more about them and view the menu at:

Since their menu changes to suite seasonal produce, it may differ  from today.

Please note - you may want to bring cash, as "Visa and Mastercard are gladly accepted with a minimum bill of $25." However if you opt for their raw or cooked 4-course meal of the day, which I don't see mentioned on their site, that is $25 so even without a tip you're already good. When I've just order a la cart, I sometimes get more than one item if I have a big appetite as one item doesn't quite fill me up, and then there's always dessert so it can be easy to hit $25 that way too.

They don't sell alcohol but it's BYOB and they offer wine glasses if anyone wants to bring their own!

I'm currently limiting to a +1 max because this event is always popular with members, but if we don't fill up I can extend that.

Let's celebrate! After all, Sept 28th is

See you there!

Very disappointing food tonight. The food was cold and lacked seasoning. Last time I was there I dreamed of my meal for weeks after. Tonight-not so much.

i ran into Sigret, one of the Tasty Kitchen's "sistahs", at Sprouts the other day. i inquired about her cart full of eggplants and it seems she's conjuring up some eggplant parmesan variation which may or may not be ready by Friday. she is stoked about the Meetup!

also, +1 on Ben's comment. Tasty K is a special experience and wait list people will be severely bummed to learn there was a spot for them they didn't know about.

Hey peeps! I just wanted to say that there is also a Flamenco Dance Festival that is happening at Casa Vicente (downtown) starting at 9pm on Friday, the 28th. So if anyone wants to join me there after Tasteful Kitchen, just let me know at the restaurant and I can give you more info! Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Hey all, I look forward to our meetup on Friday. I want to remind everyone that since there's limited spots it's important that you change your RSVP to "No" if you are unable to make it and please try not to do it at the last minute so that others can get in. There's 8 people on the wait list and if you are one of them -- there seems to always be at least a few people (sometimes many) who change RSVP's so keep an eye out for an email saying you're in!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
