Let's GET PSYCHED to ski/ride together this winter!

Anyone who wishes to participate in snow sports this winter, regardless of whether you have ever done so before, should come to this meetup. Anyone who is scared to try skiing or boarding is welcome too, but be prepared to be brainwashed.

We'll meet at the top of the amphitheater in Pan Pacific Park near what looks like a pedestrian entrance on Stanley street. This is the northwest corner of the park near the address 172 N Stanley Ave, Los Angeles, Ca. The park is just east of the Grove complex. See this google map: http://tinyurl.com/ne...

Per a review on Yelp, "parking is available on Beverly or behind the library on Gardner. Both lots can get really full on the weekend." You can also park at the Grove nearby for a fee.

Before arriving, I'll pick up an appropriate amount of vegan pizza with Daiya cheese from the Whole Foods on Fairfax nearby, and collect cash from those who wish to eat. We'll hang out for a little while, eat pizza, tell stories of epic snow adventures, and maybe play a little wiffleball or throw a frisbee around. You can also bring vegan food to share if you wish, but this isn't really supposed to be a potluck, and I'll get enough pizza for anyone who wants some.
