I've been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for 14 years. I prefer eating local, seasonal, whole foods. I love cooking, and am interested in learning about vegan cooking and raw vegan "uncooking."
I've only attended one of their potlucks, but I really enjoyed it. There was a wide variety of food (fresh fruit, chilled fruit soup, vegetable "pasta" and salads, as well as raw vegan desserts), and interesting conversation. I plan on going to their events in the future.
