Hi everyone, we've got a couple of additions to let you know about for our monthly potluck this Saturday.

We have added a special program for the evening, a presentation from Ryan Rittenhouse of Sierra Club's Austin chapter. The Sierra Club is promoting a campaign called "Austin Beyond Coal" to bring pressure on the city council to shift towards 100% clean energy. Ryan will speak about why we need to switch from dirty coal to 100% clean energy, and the need to phase out the dirty Fayette coal plant.

Also, this potluck will serve as our annual membership meeting for elections and voting on changes to our bylaws. If you are a dues-paying member of the VNA, please try to attend as we want your vote to count! If you'd like to join the VNA to participate in the direction of the VNA and help support our future endeavors, you can join online at http://vegnetaustin.org/join.html

And last but not least, we'll also be hosting the Austin Progressive Potluckers with us, so it'll be a well-attended event you don't want to miss!

Please bring a VEGAN dish that can serve 8 plus a serving utensil, as well as your own plate, utensils, and beverage. Also bring your recipe or a list of ingredients to help those with food sensitivities. Come enjoy some great vegan food, meet up with old and new friends, and learn about what we can do to improve Austin's energy future!
