August Potluck!
Hi VegOut VegPals!
August? Really? Had enough already?
Have no fear. August really is our month here at VegOut. Here are some salient facts about this most noble month. First, August is "What Will Be Your Legacy Month?" Our legacy as veg*ns will be less impact on the environment, less animal death, less catastrophic health issues, etc. "What Will Be Your Legacy Month?" is a time for people to reflect upon their past and present actions and vow to make positive changes that will affect generations.
Can a gemstone be symbolically vegan? The Peridot (August birth stone) is one of the few gemstones that occur in only one color: basically an olive green. The intensity and tint of the green however depends on how much iron is contained in the crystal structure, so the color of individual peridot gems can vary from yellow-green through olive green to brownish green. The most valuable is considered a dark-olive green color.

NastyaPeople were not very friendly and barely talked to each other. Also, I think, it would be much more fun if we gathered somewhere in the park and had a picnic instead of sitting in that boring room with electric lights. The food was good though.
