Peacefood Cafe - Eat differently (eat really well!)

Hey VegOut VegPals,

This is a "why we live in New York" place! Peacefood Cafe is the vegan epicenter of the Upper West Side! Let's all pretend that it isn't as hot out as it has been and get our vegan selves up to Peacefood. I was there for lunch recently and was immediately transported to Shangri-La. Posilutely and absotively lovely experience.

Peacefood describes their venue thusly:

"We strive to be an innovative and exceptional vegan cafe. Our cuisine is transformational, healthy and delicious; prepared and served with mindfulness, gratitude and the intention to nurture. We offer the highest quality seasonal ingredients, selecting those that are locally grown whenever possible endeavoring to ensure that your eating experience at Peacefood Cafe is joyful and memorable."

Kinda hard to top, no? All the right word choices and the food is excellent to boot!

Come on, let's do this!

Don't forget our Potluck the 3rd Sunday (8/15) at 3pm at the Center. Also we have a spectacular theatrical event coming up at the end of August! I'll post that on Thursday once the details are confirmed.

There were just four of us to enjoy this experience. The conversation was intimate and ran the gamut of movies, television and music. Oh, and there was the food - fantastic! I could wake up to chickpea fries everyday. My fluffy quinoa salad was the definition of "eat colorful." Robert's chili special was devoured before I had my first shanghai dumpling, Sat's pasta was ethereal and Jeff enjoyed his Other Ceasar. Eat at PeaceFood!
