Wild Ginger & Karaoke with Honey LaBronx!

Honey LaBronx

So Monday night is the new Friday night, right?  This is NYC! - the giant brimming toy box of vegan fun!  We're stepping out for dinner followed by some amazing entertainment by the United States' very own Vegan Drag Queen, Honey LaBronx.  Why is Honey LaBronx Monday night worthy you ask?  Because she's incredibly entertaining for starters.  For the mains, she is a fearless animal advocate and an exemplary spokesperson for all things vegan.  For dessert, you may just find yourself doing a duet with Ms. Honey.  Honey LaBronx is a vegan supercharger extraordinaire.  Whether you're in a protest with her demanding marriage equality or banning the carriage horse industry or watching her fantastic vegan cooking show or listening to her Big Fat Vegan radio show, she's the perfect messenger for everything vegan.

Our Plan:

6:30pm:  We meet for dinner at Wild Ginger for pan-asian vegan fare.

8:15pm:  We walk two blocks west and two blocks south to Baby Grand for Karaoke with Honey LaBronx!  $2 per song (hey, they gotta make money somehow, right?).

All things Honey LaBronx can be found here:

(Shhh. . .  that's Ben, Honey's alter ego in the kitchen.)

Her Big Fat Vegan Radio show is here:

So come on out on Monday night and enjoy some of the best vegan food and the best vegan entertainment NYC has to offer.  Who wants to sing "I Love the Night Life" with me?

Wow! What a fabulous time. Dinner at Wild Ginger was great, but the Vegan Karaoke was the definite highlight. Honey LaBronx was absolutely perfect as our hostess. And it was so fun to both sing karaoke and to listen to our talented group members belt it out. Thank you very much for all your encouragement, despite my lack of singing ability. :) Especially fun were the duets with Jim and Reg. What a wonderful evening hanging out with you all. I hope to see you all again soon. Huge thanks to Jim for organizing!!

Haha, I don't know if we can even call my part singing, but it was fun. :)

A fun, fun Monday night. Thanks for organizing Jim. A great group of people - good food, drink, conversation and song. David - stunning performances (both from the stage and from your seat). Look forward to next time!

Stunning is right. I had mixed feelings about yielding the Kiki Dee parts and taking on Elton John. In the end David really owned Kiki!

What an awesome evening/night we all had! The conversation flowed over dinner and songs were sung under the wing of Ms LaBronx. The whole evening for me can be summed up by saying 'this is why I live in New York.' It was so nice to see everyone. Welcome Moe!

Still coming for food; not sure about staying later for karaoke.

This is sooo friggin' tempting, but I just can't karaoke like a wild woman on a Monday night and still get up for work the next day. That makes me sad that I'm going to have to act like my own mother and make myself say no. :(

Not sure I'll be out of the office in time for dinner, but looking forward to karaoke regardless!
