When I was coming out as vegan, I wanted to find a group of like-minded, like-spirited folks. Boy, did I find it in VegOut! The most diverse, welcoming, wonderful group of people around. :)
I'm a fully committed vegan, for ethical & spiritual reasons, an environmentalist with a terribly antithetical day job, a radical simplicity enthusiast, a bi native New Yorker and a blogger for SuperVegan.com who dreams of growing her own food.
Anything from Babycakes or Stogo! If I'm being bad, Vegan Treats' Peanut Butter Bomb...agh!!! On the savory side: avocado salad at Dao Palate, miso soup & a small planet platter at Souen, seitan scallopini at Blossom, sugarcane drumsticks from VP2...
As always, the people are the most interesting, wonderful, down-to-earth mix. And the food is great!!!!!
Thanks for joining. I've enjoyed attending this meetup greatly. it has helped me out a lot.
I really like The Global Vegan Waffle Party. I make Vegan Waffles for every Sunday and well many non-Vegans (even my mother) have told me it is aquired taste. LOL. I could make a bunch and bring them for the ?fourth annual Global Vegan Waffle Party? Global how is the party global? The only problem would be the distance, I live in The Community of Redland, NW of Homestead.
No, I can't really believe it! But congratulations! There's also the So Fla Animal Rights Group. They do VO in South Beach every Sat night, other times, too. They go where protesting is needed. On Sat nights they hand out Why Vegan flyers. I've done it a few times. The Palm Bch County Veg Society. Sometimes they meet in Broward. There's the Coalition to Stop Animal Cruelty. The [masked], also in Miami, but they've met further north, too. And Vegetarian Film and Music Production.
Hello there Roseann!!!!!
