Heya VegPals!

I want to make sure that you all know about this great event happening this Saturday starting at 5pm at the Brooklyn Museum.

It's Out and Proud, an LGBTQ evening program of artistic expression.

It's also FREE!!!

I'm still laid up from my late Fall injury so I won't be able to meetup with you.

That's ok because there is someone way better to greet you this evening - VegOut's Shelley B.

Shelley is Chief of Technology at the Museum.  More about who she is and what she does is here: http://www.brooklynmuseum.org/community/blogosphere/author/bernsteins/

She has graciously offered to meet everyone in the lobby by the Kehinde Wiley painting at 8pm to say Hello!  She'll be ending her work week at that time.  Get to the Brooklyn Museum any time after 5pm and take in a few exhibits paying close attention to how technology is playing a role in the museum environment.  Meet Shelley at 8pm and get your questions answered and hear about how this museum is on the forefront of technology in concert with art and community.  I've always felt that the Brooklyn Museum is THE New York Museum.

Email Shelley through Meetup so that she knows to expect you.

The spectacular Wiley painting can be seen here:
