Hey VegPals!

Be there or be square! The beau and myself will be singing duet(s)(I hope). Robert is the real deal - has his own band, Misty Roses, featured on film soundtracks, like the latest Bruce LaBruce movie, Otto, and is a featured guest vocalist in the NY music scene. If you've been to any recent Loser's Lounge shows at the Public Theater, you've heard him sing.

I, however, have never a sung a note in my life in public. This is your opportunity to see me make a complete fool of myself for a really good cause.

See complete information here.

The New York City Anti-Violence Project is dedicated to eliminating hate violence, sexual assault, stalking, and domestic violence in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and HIV-affected communities through counseling, advocacy, organizing, and public education.

All of these issues that the Anti-Violence Project seeks to eradicate need to be brought to light. This is one organization that believes in shame-free living. If you have been a victim of violence or are currently in a relationship that has issues of violence, AVP is there to assist you.

On a lighter note, start breaking out your inner Ella or Elvis (or the Chipmunks for that matter). Great ready to grab the mike and make "I Love the Night Life" yours alone.

We'll be there on the early side. I hope to see everybody there!
