U-Pick Blueberries and Peaches

Alessandra and I went blueberry and peach picking this last weekend at King's family farm and they are so delicious. I encourage you all to go early Saturday morning as their should be lots and logs of perfectly ripe peaches and blueberries this weekend. Though not certified, they use organic farming methods. When we were there blueberries and peaches were $3.50 a pound.

King Family Farm and Market
Saturday's 9am - 2pm until May
Address: 4630 Caruso Rd, Bradenton, FL 34203 (just north of S.R. 70)
Phone:(941)[masked]

And just to be clear, there is no specific meet up. But if you want to have fun with famiy and friends and then go for lunch afterward, Mi Pueblo (with their sadly reduced menu at University and Tuttle) , Pita's Republic, and Moe's are all nearby off University and Cooper Creek.

Happy Spring!

Thanks Don for the information on the farm, didn't realize there was a u-pick so close to home, used to love going as a child in MA. My husband and I picked a load of blueberries and peaches and they are delicious. Made blueberry muffins and peach pie, yum.

Thanks for the info, since my fiance and I have been searching for a farm where we can pick our own! One question though, how are the mosquitoes?
