Dear Sarasota Veg'ns and fellow Meetup members :-)
I am happy to announce that on the first morning of our Urban Permaculture Design Course, starting Saturday July 13 at 9am, we will have a free session - until 12noon - where every one is welcome to attend free of charge. The class will meet at the Moccasin Lake Natural Park in Clearwater Florida. A location so beautiful, it alone is worth coming.
For those of you who are not sure what Permaculture is, this will be a wonderful occasion to get a comprehensive overview about Permaculture, what it is, and how the application of standard permaculture principles result in an ethical and sustainable food supply system, and why permaculture became so popular over the last few years!
Among many other things, we will learn how our food system can be improved and be more respectful toward mother Earth - its support - toward its inhabitants - however many legs they stand on - and how all living beings can enjoy a fair share of the abundant resources a sustainable system can generate.
You or your friend will also get to meet our leader, pro designer and teacher Koreen Brennan. Her exclusive teaching style, her warmth and clarity of concepts will leave a lasting impression and generate a genuine interest and intention to learn more about permaculture with anyone present.
I had the privilege to attend this free session twice so far, and I won't miss this next one. I had been told by my wife repeatedly about how Permaculture would interest me, but listening to Koreen got me to decide taking her full Permaculture Design Course. Therefore, I can personally strongly recommend you come.
We would appreciate to hear your thoughts about Permaculture, and would love to meet each of you during this heartfelt presentation. And we hope as well many of your friends will have a chance to get introduced to Permaculture. However, this brings me to ask you for a favor. Will you please let us know if you plan to join us in 2 weeks, and how many people might come along with you. We want to make sure the course room will be large enough, and that the number of chairs will be sufficient for all.
Looking forward hearing from you!
