Veggie Potluck for Peace

Community Building Opportunity! EATING IN PEACE POTLUCK! PLEASE JOIN US!
The Peace Education & Action Center (PEAC), a new resource center for educators, youth & families on peacemaking and nonviolence, invite members of the veggie community to share in their open house this Sunday with a special veg potluck. They will be celebrating their open house, as well as offering a reception for SalOm, a recent peace project.
The potluck will take place at Quaker/Friends Meetinghouse
3139 57th Street, Sarasota 34243
this Sunday, August 12th, 4pm - 7pm (please be on time so we can eat promptly)
PLEASE bring a dish to share with a notecard labeling the dish. We ask that all food be vegan (which means, no meat, dairy or eggs.) Put love into the food as your making it. Bringing food to share in a community building exercise can be bring you a really warm fuzzy feeling.

This is the first time PEAC is collaborating with us on an event, let's make them proud to associate with our wonderful group, and continue to help us promote vegetarianism in the community. This event will also include a few brief speakers and a fun community building exercise for everyone to participate in.
