Introduction
Long-time vegetarian, vegan for a year. I'm returning to the Sarasota area from Asheville, NC where I'm part of a vegan group there. I can't wait to get to know you, eat with you, share with you.
What do you want to get out of this group?
Community, support, the pleasure of eating with other vegans, information related to animal welfare, health for all, and the environment.

Not sure anymore. I've lived lots of places--Oregon, FL, NC
Occupation:
Artist now, semi-retired architect, and still-very-interested public health research analyst--epidemiology
What's your favorite veggie food?
It keeps changing with new discoveries. Vegan buckwheat blueberry pancakes with sliced bananas and hot maple syrup. It's my dog's favorite, too, sans the maple syrup.
How long have you been veg?
Since 1974. I was a child--a young child--except that, actually, I was in graduate school--a young child prodigy! :-)

Hi Linda, Welcome to WNC Solo Travelers! We're delighted to have you join our group and look forward to meeting you soon! There are alot of Solo's who are looking to meet compatible travelers to share accommodations . . . Especially on Cruises! (where you pay twice!) We hope you can come to our 1st event, but if you are unable we plan do do some future events near the AVL Airport to draw from Hendersonville and areas south also.

Hi Linda. I read about the weekly watercolor group at AAAC and a friend and I are thinking of coming. We are both new to watercolors. Is this meetup the same as the AAAC group? I'm confused.
