Veg Meetup = Veg Socializing Group! The original/oldest veg group on Meetup.com in Vancouver :D
This group gives great opportunities for vegan and vegetarian adults to socialize with other veg mates, make friends and have fun! Those who are interested in the veg lifestyle or food are also welcome as long as they are veg-friendly and respectful.
At our dining events, we enjoy tasty vegan food at a reasonable price! (The main purpose isn't judging/criticizing restaurants nor getting the biggest bargain in town, though.) Let's veg out and have fun!! :)
BY JOINING THIS GROUP, YOU AGREE TO COMPLY WITH OUR GROUP POLICY.
+++ GROUP POLICY +++
1. A full cost of the meal must be paid for no-shows and less-than-36-hour cancellations (or 24 hours or others depending on the event). You must come on time to dining events. (Showing up more than 15 minutes late can be considered as a no-show.)
This is because the restaurant prepares food and reserves tables according to the number of people who signed up and we have to wait for those who signed up to show up before we can start the meal.
2. Failure to make a required payment above or repeated no-shows and late cancellations will result in a removal from this group without further notice.
3. When we share dishes at dining events, be mindful not to take more than your portion of food. (For example, if 6 people are sharing a dish, the maximum you can take is 1/6 of the dish. Simple math! :)
4. No advertising/soliciting of companies/organizations/business, etc. is allowed (unless arranged with the organizer). Only individuals can join this group.
5. Members who do not follow/respect the group policy, the organizer and the group will be removed/banned from this group without further notice, as well as inactive members.
