Note that I just updated the start time for the ride -- the correct time is 2:30. The weather forecast looks great for Sunday so it should be a great ride.

Are you going Deb?
Might be a good recovery ride. I think that the new bike will be ready by then. BF Club is doing an easy ride in Germantown on Saturday. So I need to make a choice. |

Yes I will be there, but due to another commitment later in the day I will probably be riding there from Gravelly Point (as opposed to starting from home to make it a longer ride). I will finalize my plans in the next couple days.
Speaking of recovery rides, I am looking for a ride on Saturday morning that will cause me to need recovery on Sunday - something with hills, preferably in the 55-65 mile range. What are you alls planning on Saturday? p.s. BF Club? Boyfriend Club? Does the wife know you have a boyfriend? |

Just to clarify, the family ride on the Mall is on Sunday afternoon. So anyone who wants to suffer on Saturday can still do so and then can join us on Sunday.

Would now be a good time to tell the boss?
No ... BF .EQ. Bike Friday. I was talking with the boss yesterday about the weekend. I am thinking of something on the order of 80-100 miles this Saturday. Although I would leave the apartment around 6 AM in the morning to get an early start. |

If some people are interested in a shorter ride like Deb, I have some rides with multiple options such that we could split up into two groups. A 50-60 mile ride and a 80-100 mile ride. If we are smart about it, we could meet up at the end to have a quick bite to eat. Of course, if we all bring our cell phones we can provide emergency support too.
