Many thanks to everyone who attended, participated and volunteered in Century. It's greatly appreciated. While I can't properly rate an event that I didn't ride in, I had a lot fun. Thanks to everybody who stopped by the watermill rest stop to say 'hi'. I enjoyed the brief company and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Didn't make a single wrong turn - best road markings of any event I've been to. I got a late start since I forgot my number, so missed the mass BB and B starts. I got a chance to talk with Regina and Gregg along the way and saw a pair of Joes.

A very well-organized century. Excellent route and scenery -- enough rolling hills to be interesting, but not leg-busting, good cue sheets, plentiful and well-staffed rest stops, good vibe at the post-ride BBQ.

Great ride. David and I rode together and managed to find some well-matched riders to set a pace with. 18 MPH the first half, and 17 MPH the second half, of the Century. Overall a well-organized and enjoyable event.

Hey Debbie. If you're still interested in volunteering, please send me an email message. I will be helping out at the windmill during the afternoon shift (noon - 5pm) and would appreciate any additional help.

Hi Gregg: Yes, I'm still interested. Please send me the details. If I volunteer, will I also be able to ride? This is my first time participating in Back Roads.

Ride Needed From Bethesda, MD. Sorry for the late request, but would anyone have room for another body/bike. My neighbor who had earlier offered to drive has changed plans.

Yes. I am leaving from North Bethesda (near White Oak mall). I plan to leave early to get started at 7 AM. If that is OK, I can swing by and pick you up.

Can anyone offer a lift to someone doing the Century? Berryville is just a little too far to ride to the start.
