That post is incorrect for cyclist! Check the waba pocket guide for cyclist please. Cyclist have the same right to the road as drivers at least in DC. Also you Don't have to ride to the right in DC, the law says that if the lane is less than 11ft wide, or there isn't a wide enough shoulder a cyclist can ride in the middle of the lane. The law also states that 2 cyclist can ride in the same lane (not single file) as long as they are not disrupting the Normal Flow of traffic.
