Dirty Velo Girls Mountain Bike Ride - Waterdog

This intermediate-level ride is great for building technical skills.  We will ride for about 1.5 hours - around 6 miles - at a fun, friendly, social pace.  We start out on a short fireroad climb to warm up, then cruise miles of some of the bay area's best singletrack.  Trails have a variety of challenges, including: short steep climbs, roots, and tight switchbacks.  We are totally ok with "do-overs" and "hike-a-bikes!"  This is a great post-work ride!

You will need a mountain bike in good working condition, helmet, and water for this ride.  There are no bathrooms or water on the trail.

Please comment below if you have any questions or are running late.

Hope to ride with you all soon!

Yay that was a fun one! We will have to put a weekend ride up for Waterdog so we don't have to race the sun... thanks everyone! :)

AY YI YI.. I have to go to a school meeting again this week. I will miss you guys! Make sure to curb your wheels when you park.. I went yesterday and got a $40 parking ticket for parking with straight tires on that hill!!! And yes.. we should do a weekend ride here this fall so we aren't racing the sun.

I want to go, but I know I'm going to be slow and don't want to try it with limited daylight. If you ladies do a weekend Waterdog ride though, I would be interested!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
