Pacific N3xus Gallery
Our first two meetups were huge successes with great turnouts and alot of fun! The subject we are continuing to take on is Alchemy!
Whether synthesizing the Philosopher's Stone or transmuting lead into gold, the art and science of spiritual alchemy is predominantly one of transformation. In this study group we will explore some fundamentals of alchemical symbolism and allegory, and their relations to Magick and Yoga, seeking for tools we can use to further our own evolution. A basic set of alchemical apparatus has already been provided. Zeph Bender will be our facilitator while we explore this mysterious and illuminating journey.
This will be our third study group on this subject. Newcomers are welcome. We will meet at the Pacific N3xus Gallery in Venice, every other week, until we are done with the topic and choose another. Remember to RSVP, as space can be an issue.
*because we continue to grow, we ask that those of you who have comfy floor pillows, please bring them as we keep running out of chairs. The plan is arrange the chairs in the back, making room for floor seating up front, if needed. Because many of our members have still not joined meetup and/or don't RSVP, it has been hard to predict attendance. For instance, we had 32 people in attendance but only 23 according to meetup.*
We will be asking for a $10 donation for this event, but no one is turned away for lack of funds.

Today we talk about the duality, "The magician" and about the number "2".
I like alot the first Picture we had for meditation, to me it represents the duality btw on the right side the man's invitation to live "down here" with his palm facing down , in the dark with the Moon and stars, and on the left side the older wiser man facing his hand upward towards the Sun, like directing to the "Day" to go back to the spirituality, and both of them almost touching each other's hand at the same level , the older man w his left hand and the young man with his right hand, representing maybe a turning point btw day and night or a point where the young man is turning into a wiser man, in a way kind of the infinity symbol . To me was a very inspiring and beautiful picture, i felt a sense of peacefulness.

I can't go because my Law 001 class is Thurs from 6:50pm to 10 pm. Hopefully we'll have a Meetup at Spring Break.
