Introduction to Thelema

In 1904, British magician Aleister Crowley received The Book of the Law. This heralded the beginning of a new era of human evolution marked by an increased capacity to understand one's individual purpose within the context of the universe at large. Join us as we explore the philosophical, theological and practical underpinnings of Thelema and the Western Mystery Tradition from which it emerged.

Our class will benefit both students just beginning their exploration of the occult arts, as well as those with more experience. It will be taught by C.O.T. teacher and T.'.O.'.T.'. Grand Chief Zeph Bender, a practitioner of occultism for 25 years, specializing in Thelema since 1996.

This class will be held at the same private residence as the previous study groups. The owner of the house has requested that we withhold the address and only give it out to those who RSVP, so if you are new, please RSVP yes and request the address in the comments.  A $5 donation is suggested.

Hey Wes, I was cleaning out my bookmarks this morning and ran across this article about Chaos Magick and Thelema that I tagged a long time ago. Thought you might want to check it out:

Thanks Decker! This is quite an interesting find. I am reading The Wake World right now. I might have to reread it a few more times but it is very beautiful read

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
