About The Ventura Atheists Meetup Group

Welcome to the Ventura Atheists Meet-Up! It's for all atheists, agonistics, free thinkers, rationalists, naturalists, secular humanists, etc. to connect and discuss relevant issues facing our local community, the nation and the world. We are trying to build a growing community of freethinking, rational atheists to advance the understanding and acceptance of Atheism, maintain the wall between Church and State and build a vibrant and active atheist community in Ventura County.

Please attend our monthly meet-up and discussion group in the Topping Room of the EP Foster Library 651 E Main Stret, Ventura on the forth Monday of each month. It's at 7pm and is always free. Discussions are lively and relevant and all view points are welcome. A voluntary collection is taken to cover the costs of the room and for advertising.

The Ventura Atheists is a chapter of Atheists United, http://atheistsunited.... Paid membership to our parent group is encouraged but not required to attend and participate in the Ventura meetings however there are many more activities that take place around Southern California put on by Atheists United as well as an informative monthly newsletter that you can benefit from and enjoy if you are a member.
