Walk for Farm Animals

Here's an opportunity to help our beloved four and two legged friends who often suffer at the hands of the meat industry.

The classification “farm animals” includes some of the most intelligent and complex creatures on earth. Studies have shown that pig intelligence is actually more advanced than that of dogs. Chickens use a multitude of sounds to communicate with each other and experience deep empathy for their fellow birds. Cows are fiercely loyal, developing life-long friendships with their herd mates and mourning the deaths of those they lose. The one thing these animals can’t do, though, is speak for themselves. When you Walk, you give a voice to these incredible beings.

Walk for Farm Animals - The walk is in Pasadena on October 26th from 9:30am to 2:15pm. It is a great day filled with food, music, speeches and other various entertainment!

Registration is $15.00 in advance, and $25.00 the day of the Walk, children walk for free. The speakers are still being confirmed, but Gene Baur, the founder of Farm Sanctuary will definitely be speaking. You can email [masked] if you have any questions at all!

Walk was well-organized, on-time, and the route was lovely. Nice people too!

Hello dear ones I am sorry I won't be able to attend this, I have another commitment for one of the publications I write for. I've been so busy I did not have a chance to send a message out sooner. If you all want to connect at the walk I'm sure you can coordinate with each other or possibly carpool. Blessings to you all, I'm sure it will be beautiful.

Hi Lynne, I've never been there, so I'm not sure of the layout or how crowded it gets. I haven't met everyone either. I will have my duck in a pet stroller, so if you see us please say hi!
