November Meetup

Yep, that's right.  Our November Verge event is coming up! As always, we've got two great Purdue startups pitching this month, and a fireside chat presenter who I know you're all really going to enjoy.

Before getting too far into the details for this month's event, I want to give a HUGE THANKS to this month's sponsor, DelMar Software Development. DelMar Software Development is a partnership of software developers that like to build simple, easy to use software on top of large, complex data. DelMar loves working with startups or non-software businesses that need a helping hand launching a new software based line of business.

Doors open at 6:30, and we'll be serving food and brews (for those 21+). Make sure to come early, mingle and help us get things rolling!

For those of you who missed our last two events at The Anvilwe actually were filled to legal capacity for both! So - we're going to start things again by opening 35 spots for our next event, and go from there.  Make sure to grab a spot while you can, and jump on the waiting list if things get full!  We'll be getting more people actual spots who are on the waiting list as we have cancellations and we make more spots available.

With that - here's a bit about our startups and 'Fireside Chat' Presenter:

To start off we have Purdue startup, SPEAK MODalities. SPEAK MODalities is dedicated to providing the best evidence backed software solutions for developing language skills in children with autism and delays in speech development. Currently they have SPEAKall! in the app store with the commercial version (SPEAKnow!) soon to be released, and SPEAKmore! (which picks up where SPEAKnow! leaves off) in development and testing.

Next we have Envigilator. Envigilator is the Fitbit for your homework. Their mission is to help students and educators be more effective in their computer-based learning through analytics. Envigilator records and analyzes students' work to help themselves and their teachers know how they best work, create, and learn.

For our Fireside Chat we're excited to bring in Eric Davis. Prior to his position as Executive Director at Lafayette Catholic Schools, Eric was instrumental in starting up multiple ventures including Arxan Technologies and Skyepack, among others.  In addition to his current duties with Lafayette Catholic Schools, Eric also is the Owner of J.E.D. Venture Partners.

Make sure to RSVP and get a spot while you still can, and I look forward to seeing you all for another great event!

Cheers,

Mike

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
