Dear Veggie Society Members:

The attachment referred to below was missing from the email I received.  You'll need to visit Sugar Creek Farm's website or email them (links are provided below) in order to find the necessary order form.

Sugar Creek Farm, located in Davie County, is pleased to offer its neighbors the option of a weekly CSA (Community Supported Agriculture)! Because all of the farmers’ markets we attend are in Winston-Salem, we have often worried that we weren’t serving our more local customers in Clemmons and Advance as well as we could. No more! If you live in zip code 27006 north of Ellis Middle School or in zip code 27102 north of Centenary Church Road, we would love to deliver to your door each week a box full of local, seasonal, certified organic produce.

How Does It Work?

Purchasing a share in a CSA allows you easy access to delicious, healthy food but also gives you the ability to support and develop a relationship with the farmer that grew it! Members who purchase a CSA share will receive a box of produce delivered to their door each week from early May thru mid-September. We will harvest (usually that very day to ensure peak freshness/nutrition) and package your produce for you, and then we’ll deliver it to your door at no extra charge. You’ll also receive a newsletter with recipes and news from the farm, and each fall we host a farm visit day exclusively for our members with food, music and a behind-the-scenes tour. The cost is $600 for 20 weeks, which works out to a $30 value each week from early May thru mid-September. Here are some examples of what you might expect to receive in your share, although due to the inherent risks of farming we can’t guarantee any particular vegetable:

About the Farm

Sugar Creek Farm is located in Davie County, NC near Farmington. It was started by Jeff and Betsy Tucker in 2004, and now also includes Natalie Sevin as Farm Manager. We have worked very hard and are proud to say that we are certified organic, which means that we don’t use ANY synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. We do not resell anything grown by anyone else, so you can be certain that any vegetables you purchase from us will be healthy, nutritious and, above all, delicious! For a lot more information about the farm, including a chart showing all that we grow and the farmers’ markets we attend, please visit our website at

If you’re interested in purchasing a CSA share, please fill out the form attached to this email and send it along with a check for $600 made out to:

Sugar Creek Farm, LLC

Please note that purchasing a CSA share is a season-long commitment, but if you want to transfer your membership to someone else you are welcome to do that as long as that person resides in our designated delivery area. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact us at [address removed] and we will do our best to answer them. We love to share what we do and how we do it, and are happy to arrange farm visits. Thanks, Jeff, Betsy and Natalie Sugar Creek Farm Davie County, NC
