Let's go to Bratislava!

... we heard there was a lot of interest going to Bratislava for next week's Rubyslava + PyVo meetup. Let's all hop on that train!

We will leave from Wien Hauptbahnhof at 16:21 (platform 11), make sure to be there early to get your ticket.

My number - in case of #godknowswhat - text me: [masked]

Talks will start at 18:00

CFEngine (@tomas_corej, @websupport_sk)
CFEngine is the oldest tool for configuration management that inspired Puppet & Chef. Features like model-based monitoring, promise theory and knowledge management support makes it an reasonable alternative for IT system automatization.

Puppet (@petermihalik, @bonetics)
Hammer of the Sysadmins based on puppet, git and redmine. Managing complex infrastructure producing 1/3 of slovak peering traffic in peaks.,,,,

Chef (@martin_sabo)
Administration for programmers who host their own beast. Ruby aesthetics, versioning and clean design principles in the dark world of shell.

Foreman (@iNecas, @redhatcz)
Foreman ( is open-source "provisioning and configuration management" tool which in full integration with Puppet allows configuration of PXE, DHCP or DNS server and running desired machine with one click. Besides physical machines Foreman also deploys virtual machines using libvirt, ovirt, VMWare or EC2. Written in Ruby & Rails. I'll show basic features of Foreman that we develop in RedHat Brno.

Rubyslava a PyVo is sponsored by @jetbrains. Speakers get a free yearly licence for a product of his choice: RubyMine, PyCharm or PHPStorm.
