i just realized what meetup.com is good for, besides having a horrible, horrible newsletter wysiwyg interface - they have a pretty decent way to manage scarcity.
next meetup is
Siebenbrunnengasse 17, 1050, Vienna, Austria
(same same as the last time)
note: ring the bell at "meinkauf"
thx to https://twitter.com/clusterhausWien
now about scarcity, we have a room for 25 people (it's a physical limitation, not a social one), that's why you have to sign up at http://www.meetup.com/viennajs/events/96929872/ where i limited the numbers of attendees to 30. (currently 28)
if you are late, please sign up anyway, then you are on the waiting list.
if you do not plan to show up - but clicked on "attend" already - click the "un-attend" button/field/feature somewhere - then somebody else von the waiting list will move up there. (i will contact everyone of the 30 on wednesday and ask if they still plan to show up, so your chances will be pretty good if you are on the waiting list)
if you show up without being on the attendes list you will probably
a) sit on the floor
b) or not be able to enter the room as there are people inside
talks so far
oh yeah, the best mini talk will get a RaspberryPi, sponsored by http://f19n.com/
also there is this https://twitter.com/thomasf/status/304877618879135744 (yeah, i don't know what he means either)
if the demand for the meetup stays this high i'm currently in talks with some people to give us a bigger room, well, lets see.
also if somebody want to be a co-organizer, just say a word.
1050, Vienna, Austria
