We're heading over the border to France for a day trip to Colmar - the beautifully preserved 9th century city built along the canals of the Lauch river (considered by many to be "the Venice of France"). We'll stay late enough to photograph Colmar's unique architecture during the "blue-hour" just after sunset. For those interested in HDR and low-light photography, this is an ideal opportunity to practice in a unique setting! Colmar also happens to be one of the driest cities in France - a perfect destination for springtime with its unpredictable weather.
Don't forget your tripod if you're interested in experimenting with some HDR (high dynamic range) photography in the evening before we head back to Zurich. Matt will be available to help explain this technique for those who are interested in a few pointers. Join us for a unique outing on April 13th! See you at the Zurich HB short term parking lot (across from the National Museum). Please be punctual
