Each year in Zurich, Photo Forum gathers an impressive collection of photography - produced by local artists, at the Maag Event Halle near Zurich's Hardbrücke station. In addition they assemble a list of world class photographers to give inspiring presentations. This year on the opening day of the exposition (Friday) there will be a presentation by Albert Watson who made the world-famous portrait of Steve Jobs.
We'll gather at 18:30 just inside the Event Halle, immediately beyond the Kasse. The general exhibition closes at 20:00 and Albert Watson's presentation begins at 20:00. Look for Matt who will be showing some kind of Viewfinder Sign to identify our group. Tickets cost Fr. 30.- Bring a friend! More info at: http://www.photo-schweiz.ch/de/
Hi Isabella & Gang,
I'm gonna go ahead and plan it as another meetup in case others are interested. That way everyone gets the email.
Cheers,
Matt

Hi Dears,
Quite a few of you are interested in meeting Tuesday. I therefore reserved a table at 6 pm at Ly's Asia Restaurant, which is across the main entrance of the Maag Hall. We can have a drink, a chat and afterwards join the presentation. Thank you for your interest, have a nice weekend and see you shortly.
Ciao,
Isabella

Thank you Matt for organizing this meetup. I very much enjoyed it! Great to meet such wonderful new people! I am planning to attend the presentation of Steve Mc Curry on Tuesday evening, at 8 o'clock. If anybody is interested, we could meet at 6 pm, have a drink nearby and then attend the presentation. What do you think?

Such a privilege to see, hear, and learn from 'the MAN' behind the iconic photos ...very inspiring! Hats off to Mr A. Watson.

If you want to check out the presentation by portrait photographer Albert Watson, be sure to buy the full-ticket for Fr. 30.- otherwise you will only be allowed into the gallery exhibit. Word to the wise: I don't think they sell food in there. Not 100% sure.

Good point Mirco. It would be wise to purchase your ticket online rather than the night of the event. I have a feeling that Albert Watson's presentation will be very popular and might sell out.

Do you already have tickets for the presentation, or do we need to preorder our own?
