Join the business women of WIN and other networkers (that means men too!) for a business networking event unlike any other that you've been to before!
Golf is synonymous with networking in many business circles. It provides a way to spend extended time with someone in a non-threatening environment and exciting conversations always come out of it. In an effort to continue mixing things up and providing business networking coupled with different activities, we are excited to bring the networking community this event!
Creatively called a "Business Networking + Intro To Golf Social (Novices + NON-golfers welcome!)+contest", this event will offer business networking with wine and snacks in our own large meeting room as well as a beginners golf clinic (for those interested) on the putting green section right outside the room.
We are SO excited to have this opportunity to host a function at the PGA Superstore. In fact, one of their PGA Superstore Golf pros will even walk participants of this clinic through the basics of golf such as
o Swing fundamentals
o Explanation of clubs and terms
o Iron Basics (irons, woods? whatttt? :) )
o Putting basics
o Rules and etiquette on the green
o Non-golfers and novices are welcome!
o Provide solid business opportunities
o Cultivate relationships
o There will be WINE and snacks
o Not only will they be giving us an intro to golf clinic but there will even be a PUTTING contest!.. with prizes!
o And even if you are NOT into golf, this will be an excellent networking opportunity.
o And much more!
6:30 - event begins! Wine, snacks and whatnot will be available. We encourage everyone to be there as close to the starting time as possible.
At 7PM, the golf clinic will start.
Networking will always be going on and many people who do NOT play golf and are not necessarily interested in learning about it will be attending for the networking aspect.
RSVPS will be CRUCIAL in ensuring that we have ample snacks and wine. In fact, we'll need a minimum of 20 confirmed attendees. If you think you are coming, please take the time to RSVP. :)
Registration through Meetup is $15 online through 4/28. $25 at the door so PLEASE take the time to pre-register! IF we don't have enough RSVPs, this event will not happen. IF you are one who pre-paid, you will be refunded.
