Barton Creek

I know the trails on the backside of Barton Creek and it is great for an offleash event.

Dry ... but physically challenging hike due to dry conditions and rocky paths. Wear good shoes. Fabulous greenbelt for outdoor fun.

Let me clarify location ... South of Capital of TX Hwy - 360 and on the West side of Loop 1 / MOPAC. There is a semi-parking area for accessing the greenbelt - Barton Creek. To my knowledge it requires leash and good shoes. There may be some areas where we can let them off leash - but I don't think that is "official". I'm game for in the morning. As a matter of fact ... I'll be there ... if anyone wants to meet me. CC

How about Sunday Morning - tomorrow (Dec 2) -- meet on the North Mopac Bridge side just South of Loop 360. There is parking there and lots of folks start their hiking here.

    Do we have any details?

I am not familiar with a specific off leash area of Barton Creek/Greenbelt? Looks like Sarah Dunlap started this thread.. hopefully she'll chime in soon with more specifics. If not and nobody else has a specific suggestion I am sure we can come up with a place to meet (I know its not Barton Creek but Turkey Creek is always a reliable off-leash destination). Maybe someone else is familiar with Barton Creek?

Sunday AM sounds good for us and for Tika, she would love the Vizsla company. Which part of Barton Creek are we looking at?

We are talking about the Green Belt right when we say Barton Creek?

"Barton Creek" and "AM" are very general...does anyone have a specific time or place of Barton Creek trail where they were thinking?

Sunday is probably good for Grace and I too. I'm not familiar with a trail near Barton Creek. Can someone give directions on where to meet and where to park?
