Thanks again...for a very successful MeetUp.
I need your wise counsel.
One of our GROUP A co-writers had to leave early.
I need his E address, if you have it.
I don't know his name.
Very thin, gray hair, glasses, from Connecticut...
with a fancy electric guitar.
He was sitting in a free-standing chair,
closest to the kitchen door.
I want to send him our final song lyrics.

This just came in - it's for a directors shot so there is very little money but would be good on anyone's portfolio. Here is the request: I need a song to be synched in the opening shot of a film short “The Broker”. It is set in the future, yet looks like the past, specifically film noir; think Blade Runner or Sin City. In the opening scene as the credits roll there is a prisoner, alone in a room, contemplating his fate. Over the loud speaker an incredibly inappropriate song is playing, like “Blue Skies…smiling at me…”. The song should be a little jazzy, and a little too happy for the situation, and evoke a feel of the 1930’s – 1940’s. One caveat, the song really shouldn’t be about love. That would send the audience’s expectations completely in the wrong direction. Instrumentation would ideally contain, piano or big band horn section, but preferably not guitars.
