The Dallas Voice Acting Meet Up Group is proud to announce:

7:30 PM to 10 PM

2 Groups, 2 Pre-Production Meetings, 2 Episodes, One Night!

Here are the details:

Sign Up & Casting

RSVP as usual. There will be 2 groups of 5 to 6 actors.
As one group performs, the other will be in audience. A coin toss will determine which group starts first. Each cast-member will receive their script 2 weeks before the Meet Up. I will do the casting and additional instructions will accompany the scripts. I am available anytime for clarifications or questions. There are only 12 open slots.

Meet Up Night

Each group will begin with a 15 to 20 minute pre-production meeting. During this meeting, actors will sit in the round and introduce their vocal characterizations, discuss timing and tempo and ask questions.

The performance will be directed by me and performed twice. First pass will be slow and deliberate and the second pass will be at a brisker pace.

Here is your chance to try out your goofy chops and work tightly within a group. It’s more than just reading, it’s relating to the cast, the script and becoming your character. Zero in, Lock on, read ahead, pull it off!

Performances will be recorded in “reference only” quality.
