From 2 to 4 PM we will have an advanced level meetup at the Cambridge Recreational Center in Cambridge. There will be one court (12 spots) available. The game will be on a men's height net.

This game is for Yankee C+ and above level only (college club level or better). Players are required to know how to play a 6-2 and 5-1 formation.

If you'd like to play, please send an email to Brian using this URL: http://www.meetup.com/volleyball-122/message/?recipientId=4774008

In the email, confirm that you know how to play in a 5-1 or 6-2 offense, and mention your preferred position (if any).

Players will be added to the list to fill up positions. This game is intended for Yankee C+ and above players (or equivalent), and people who have not been no-shows at previous meetups. There is a strict cap to make sure everyone gets lots of playing time. Note that sending an email does not guarantee a spot to play; spots are only guaranteed if you receive a positive confirmation email. The cost of the meetup will be $5. Please pay the organizer when you arrive before the meetup starts. The money goes to cover the cost of the court rental. The entrance to the gym is on Cambridge Street opposite Harvard Market. The nearest intersection to the entrance is Cambridge Street and Roberts Road. The nearest T stop is Harvard Square. The gym is about a ten minute walk from the T stop. Parking near the school on Sundays is generally easy to find, as meters and residential parking rules are generally not enforced on Sundays (parking signs should say "EX SUNDAY" or similar).

All of the levels of play seems to fit. But I signed up for the advanced and then was switched without a real explanation or rationale. I was switched with someone and I'm not sure but I doubt that person signed up for intermediate. This action I do not like if you sign up for a level of play then you should have the right to play there unless you bring down the level of play. If you flounder at that level of play then a person should be offered a chance to play at a different level. Overall ppl should be given a chance to play where they want.

I was the one who invited you to switch, and you did so voluntarily. It wasn't just me. I consulted several others, who played with/against you 12-2 and saw your skills. I invite you to HITS in Waltham Thursday nights. http://www.hitsvolley... You want rationale? Try learning to pass.

Yes i did with no issues because im not looking for any problems or issues, I came there to play so of course im not going to have an issue. Like I said that you selectively didn't mention I like coming there and ppl and players there. Everyone has been friendly and welcoming. But to be judged on 1 game from 12-2, when I only played 1 game after traveling in a storm for over an hour; so judging me on game or less than 30 minutes of playing, where everyone wasn't going 100% and peppering is dogmatic and imprudent. Even in going to clinics and formal practices there is a larger sample size. Fyi consulting 1 person is several maybe a number greater than 2, which was at most the number of ppl from 12-2 that saw me. Waltham Hits is a good place , Ive never been but I know good ppl that go there
