Bushwick Open Studios ’13 brings together visual artists, performers, musicians, designers, and the public to celebrate creative expression in one of New York’s most vital arts districts. BOS ’13 will showcase over 500 individual artist studios and dozens of related events and expects crowds to exceed last year’s total of 20,000 visitors.

TAT is a curated participatory game. The participant will the hero of their own story. TAT involves solving a set of clues as the ‘Hero’ of this journey and ‘experiencing’ select performances, artist studio visits, and interactions with the Bushwick community. There will be surprise encounters, including being filmed for scenes that will be edited into the final film and web series.

Remember that being within the space guarantees interaction with the public within and outside the game. So come be a part of BOS'13 and TAT!

Hey All! Im super excited for this weekend and TAT. I'd love it if everyone who RSVP'ed played the game! There are some awesome artworld rewards at certain points in the game and also for how well you played the overall game - rewards include secret visit to a landmark new york museum after hours (how sweet is that!), dinner with artists, tickets to Bushwick's independent film circuit and more! Also this is heavy on user generated content and the more stories you weave the better your chances at getting included in the projects film and web series cuts! THE GAME IS PLAYED ON JUNE 1ST AND 2ND. THE STARTING POINTS WILL BE BEHIND DORRS 1,2 AND 3 and the locations/addresses can be accessed at www.ishatellsall.tumblr.com.

So head out to Bushwick and experience something unique!
    Cheers

    Meenakshi

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
