I'm into spatial interfaces, depth cameras, stereoscopic and volumetric displays, HUDs, augmented and mediated reality, inertial sensors, embedded machine vision, etc. I'm lucky enough to have a job where I'm encouraged to play with these things.
I've mostly done Kinect-based brand engagement experiences for tradeshow booths. I'm interested in, among other things, using the Kinect for capturing 3D meshes for printing on my Replicator 2.
I do a lot of development with the Kinect and Unity. I've also been playing with the LEAP and Intel Perceptual Computing Toolkit. And I've designed and build several inertial motion capture devices.
I'd be happy to do a demo of some simple raw depth image analysis using Processing.
