So, tell me, ...
Do you ever wish you had just jumped in the car & headed down to New Orleans after hurricane Katrina, or Florida after Andrew or Ivan, or Tuscaloosa or Joplin after their devastating tornadoes, or maybe to the Flooding of the Red River (when Grand Forks was on fire), or flooding that runs virtually all the way down the Mississippi ?
Do you ever watch Catastrophes unfolding on the News & think to yourself, that is unbelievable,
... it's like a war zone there.
And then, You wonder to yourself what it must be like to actually be there, ?
I mean, ... right there, ... right then, ... in person ?
Well, ...here it is,
you're opportunity to get involved and be a "Catastrophe first Responder"
...your chance to give back in so many ways. You can Volunteer with us in your hometown (groups are forming now across the country, and we are looking for Local Group Leaders, Event Planners Organizersin the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/ St. Paul, Minnesota), and Houston, Texas) and also have an opportunity to participate after tornadoes, hurricanes, flooding & other catastrophes wherever they occur across the U.S. (in many events, food, travel & accommodations costs related to the catastrophe volunteer participation may be partially or fully covered and/or re-imbursed). From floods, tornadoes & hurricanes; as a group & individually, we show up & work along side other Volunteer groups; 
using our combined resources & manpower (& of course women power) to find the specific needs of the community; in order to accomplish "help that truly makes a difference" ! As a group, We plan to be a visible presence at catastrophe situations wherever they occur, (in the Midwest & the U.S.); and if you're available, you can be there, too. If you're not available to leave town, you can participate right where iyou are, with logistical work (phone calls, setting up lodging, working with other groups to co-ordinate our combined efforts, etc.). We will be working along side the American Red Cross, Americorps, Salvation Army, FEMA, Habitat for Humanity, and many other great organizations. So, Join us today, and come out & help us make someone's life a little easier; meet others with a desire to help, and Share all your stories & photos of stepping up & helping out. Knowledge is power. So, Restoration training & many different Training classes & certifications will be available (& depending on the catastrophe, some training may also be mandatory).
Remember, whether you can help for a day, a week or a month,
it's all part of your life story;
and,
... that makes it a very important one !
