Twice a year, the Northland Community Council provides a free Shredding Day to the community. Residents may bring their documents to be securely shredded, for their peace of mind. This event is also a fundraiser to benefit the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, and residents are asked to 3 non-perishable items to the Food Bank. Additionally, this year, the event will be collecting dog food for the Shelter.
Several volunteers are needed to help unload the boxes of items for shredding from the vehicles as they pass through the line. You will need to be able to do some lifting, and be comfortable working outdoors. Please dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes and bring gloves.
You may volunteer from 10 am until 2pm, for the full event. Or, anytime in between. The event organizer really needs the extra hands. Should you have questions, you are encouraged to call Emmanuel at[masked]-5007.
If you can share a few hours on Saturday, please come by to help make a neighbor's household safer and clutter-free by helping with this wonderful Shredding Day event.
Thanks for Sharing and Caring.
