Berea Animal Rescue, Yard cleanup and picnic.
The Berea Animal Rescue fund is going to be building a new facility here and could use a hand cleaning the lot prior to starting construction. Obviously you'll want to wear old clothes and gloves and if you have a rake or something that you could bring, that would be a big help.(Anyone have a chainsaw they’d like to bring?)
This is a casual project and if you want to come out later in the afternoon or just for an hour, your help will still be appreciated.
Come on out and enjoy the fresh air while helping your small furry friends. Note: this is an animal and child friendly project. Afterwards, we'll have a bonfire and picnic to celebrate. Hot dogs, buns, plates, napkins and basic condiments will be provided. You'll need to find a stick to roast your hot dog and bring a beverage and side dish to share --- something simple, maybe a bag of chips, some cookies or a bag of marshmallows. You will also need to bring a blanket or lawn chair since there are no tables.
