Single Volunteers - Events for Week of Sept 7

From: Single V.
Sent on: Monday, September 21, 2009 8:59 PM
Single Volunteers is a group who lists events on their own website (See full details of each event on www.SVOHIO.ORG) plus also lists events on - Here is our newest E-Newsletter that went out.

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all staying busy - and finding lots to do on the SV Calendar. The main purpose of this email today is to request your help. This SV E-Newsletter is being sent to over 550 people plus 200 people within Our group has grown and we love it!! We can now have multiple events in one day, we are meeting more and more new friends, and we have several new Point of Contacts on our October Calendar. What we don't have is a room big enough to hold all of our members during our monthly meeting/social. We had about 50 people at our last meeting and we were a bit snug. We always have a Halloween themed meeting in October. Some wear costumes, some funny hats, a red nose or two, and we just have fun.

But it will be hard if we don't have the room for visiting and eating all the goodies our members bring to the meeting.

QUESTION: Do you know of a meeting place where we can have one meeting a month? Does your church offer rooms to non-profits? Do you belong to a Home Owners Association that may have meeting space? Or any other ideas you may have.

Can you please contact Debbie [masked]) if you know of anything. We do have a minimal fee we can pay - but we prefer Free of course. We need space for 50-60 people on the 4th Saturday of each month.

Here are this weeks events - we hope to see you soon - our monthly meeting is this Saturday!!.
