See below for more detail about Legacy Ball:
Every year individuals and businesses partner together to help make a huge difference in the lives of children in our community through their support of Davis House Child Advocacy Center’s annual Legacy Ball. The inaugural Legacy Ball was held in 2006 and it has become one of the premiere events in Williamson County over the past five years. The evening features fine dining and dancing, and guests of the Legacy Ball are always impressed with the incredible silent auction and the energetic and exciting not-so-silent auction.
In the past the auctions have showcased wonderful prizes such as a wedding dress, Lasik surgery, orthodontic treatment, trips, and fine jewelry. Another highlight of the evening is the awards presentation to outstanding Child Protective Investigative Team member and outstanding volunteer. The highest honor that Davis House Child Advocacy Center bestows, the Ronald L. Davis award, is also presented to honor an individual who exemplifies service and dedication to the protection of children.
The event is attended by some of Williamson County’s most prominent citizens as well as elected officials on the local, state, and national level, and has drawn 400 attendees each of the last two years. The evening is truly a spectacular event that raises funds for Davis House Child Advocacy Center to provide services to abused children and their family members in crisis, such as counseling, case management, forensic interviews, support groups, victim advocacy and numerous additional services, all of which are provided at no cost to the children and families we serve.
